TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, lead weight (461g), Robinson Plate 5-6 (several types with identical obverse), 76mm; stylized hintha bird, with fancy tail, long beak, and curled crest, both feet clear, floral ornamentation in the background // almost all of original Burmese-Mon legend, which has never been deciphered! one of the best preserved we have seen, choice VF to EF.
