Hiogo News Office, Report of the Commissioner of the Imperial Mint, Report of the Commissioner of the Imperial [Japanese] Mint for the Year ending 31st of the 3rd Month of the 19th Year of Meiji (31st March, 1886), 41 pages, softcover, a very interesting insight into the early years of the Japanese mint with details including showing the vast amount of silver imported to the Mint that year came from San Francisco, English text, ex. H. F. Bowker Numismatic Library. Howard Franklin Bowker (1889-1970) was a numismatist and philatelist, collecting and specializing in Chinese coins, stamps and banknotes. He created the first bibliography of Western language publications on East Asian numismatics.
