Robinson, John, Oriental Numismatics: A Catalog of the Collection of Books Relating to the Coinage of the East Presented to the Essex Institute, Salem, 1913, original printing, 102 pages, hardcover, signed by the author to Sir James H. Stewart Lockhart, KCMG (1858-1937), a British colonial official in Hong Kong and China. Lockhart was particularly interested in collecting and studying Chinese coins, and he produced several publications on numismatics, ex. H. F. Bowker Numismatic Library. Howard Franklin Bowker (1889-1970) was a numismatist and philatelist, collecting and specializing in Chinese coins, stamps and banknotes. He created the first bibliography of Western language publications on East Asian numismatics.
