MACEDON. Eion. Circa 480-470 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 4.06 g). Two geese, one standing to right with spread wings and the other, almost entirely off the flan here standing left with its head turning to right; annulet between. Rev. Rough incuse square. SNG ANS 268. AMNG III, 33. Same obverse die as CNG e369 (2016), 36. Toned; this is, by far, the most difficult-to-find issue of Eion. Obverse badly off-center, otherwise, very fine.
