RUSSIAN MEDALS. BADGES . Cheka – OGPU – NKVD – KGB . These badges were the highest award for a Chekist of the time, and they are the key pieces of the series Fifth Anniversary Breast Badge of the Meritorious Chekist, of GPU, 1917-1922. Badge. Silver. Hallmarked (875). Multi-piece construction. Red and dark blue enamels. Screwback. Oval badge, sword pointed downwards behind; superimposed crossed hammer and sickle and red enamel Roman number 'V'. Banner below with the abbreviation 'B.Ч.K. - Г.П.У' in dark blue, near black enamel. Dates flank sword hilt '1917' and '1922'. Engraved award 'No. 156' and 'ДУБЛ' on the back. Zak 2.1.1 b (R) - for a regular badge. Unpublished and of the greatest rarity as a Duplicate. Sword loose, otherwise very well preserved Знак принадлежал одному из самых одиозных представителей Органов ВЧК – ГПУ – НКВД Е.А, Тучкову (1892-1957). Начальник Антирелигиозной комиссии при ЦК ВКП(б). Руководитель секретным 6-ым 'церковным' отделением ОГПУ. Руководил агентурой против Патриарха Тихона, уничтожением духовенства Соловецкого м-ря и друзих религиозных центров России. Чекистский 'игумен' и палач Русской Православной церкви. Серый кардинал ВЧК.
