SOUTH AFRICAN: 2002 Gold 4-coin Set. The Gold Krugerrand is arguably the most collected bullion coin! First struck in 1967 (which we have an example in this very auction) it wasn't until 1980 The South African Mint produced the Proof issue for collectors. This four coin Set comprises of the full 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz and 1/10thoz presented in a wooden case without certification. No more than 700 sets were produced for 2002!
