A very rare issue of Neapolis that was issued after the city had made an alliance with Rome in 326 BC. Instead of the siren Parthenope and the man-headed bull ( the river god Acheloos), the types are Apollo and a chariot, thus announcing something new. Neapolis was soon to return to her traditional types, but a new chapter in her history had begun.
