The rarer variant of this reverse type with male captive on left and female on right rather than vice versa; very rare with portrait left. Our specimen is from the same dies as the one in Glasgow cited and illustrated by RIC; RIC apparently knew of another specimen, or possibly just an earlier appearance of our specimen, to justify the rarity rating R2 rather than R3.
