ATTICA. Athens. Circa 467-465 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.24 g, 6 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and palmette, disc earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, with a small, three-pointed tail, feet close together, and head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon; all within incuse square. Starr Group II. C, cf. 64. Very well-struck and well-centered on a broad flan. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
