Diademed bust of Phraates to left; behind, eagle left, holding a wreath in its beak to crown the king. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΝ... (highly garbled Greek legend in the form of a square) Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; below bow, monogram. Sellwood 52.32-33 (uncertain letter behind the throne on the reverse). Sunrise 395. An impressive piece, struck on an especially broad flan. Reverse very slightly double-struck, otherwise, good extremely fine.
