Philip II, 247-249. Antoninianus (Silver, 23 mm, 3.92 g, 4 h), Antioch. IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed beardless bust of Philip II to right. Rev. AETERNITAS AVGG Elephant advancing to left, guided by a mahout holding a goad and wand. Cohen 5. RIC 246A (but misdescribed with the elephant to right). Bright, lustrous and very sharp. Virtually as struck.
