POLICE LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, (EIIR type 1). Sgt. 2/C.F.Dornbusch. Engraved. Ribbon damaged, toned, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
Frederick Dornbusch, Queensland Police, Regd No.2900, born 9 December 1900 and entered police force at age 25 years 7 months. Promoted to Constable 22 July 1926 and to Sergeant 2/C on 9 February 1946. Service includes postings to Depot Stables 23.07.1926; Goomeri 19.03.1932; Gilbert River 18.09.1937; Rockhampton 26.09.1944; Normanton 09.02.1946; and Fortitude Valley 04.04.1955. Sergeant Dornbusch died on 5 June 1960 from a heart condition.
