Gloucestershire, Bristol, City Farthings, undated issue by T. Simon for P. Blondeau (3), 3.34g/12h (N 1451T, this piece, recté 3.34g; BW. 11), 3.98g/6h, 3.35g/6h (both N 1452; BW. 11) [3]. First fine and the die combination very rare, others better but third with surface verdigris on obverse £70-£90

It should be noted that the weights for some Bristol tokens with the T (Thompson collection) suffix, in this and the following lots, differ minutely from those recorded in SCBI 38, which infers that the equipment used to record them differed from the Mettler balance used by Matthew Weait at Spink to record the weights of Norweb tokens
