The Milton Collection, British West Africa, George VI, nickel-brass shilling, 1946 H, Heaton mint, crowned bust left, by Percy Metcalfe, rev. palm dividing date, value below (Format 75; KM 23), a very rare circulated coin, certified and graded by CGS as Very Fine 50
Two specimens were in the Heaton Mint archive collection, one of which went to R. J. Ford. Another example was in the Arielle Collection. The reverse is a re-worked King's Norton die and the N especially, of the KN mint mark, can be seen to the right of the base of the palm and next to the H.
