The Peace [or Treaty] of the Pyrenees (1659) ended the Thirty Years War between France and Spain. The reconciliation between the two countries was made finite in 1660 when Louis XIV married his cousin, the Infanta Marie-Thérèse of Spain and daughter of Philip IV.
