Greece Local Banks - Trapeza Kritis (Bank of Crete) 25 Drachmai Pick S153 hand stamp dated 26th September 1915 possible first series number A/001 290565, about VF and presentable. The note in black on yellow and green underprint with the obverse featuring the Crete's Coat of Arms flanked by a seated illustration of the sea god Poseidon (Neptune in the Roman mythology) on left and a facing portrait of King George I. The reverse in green featuring a guilloche panel with a Labyrinth illustration at centre. Printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co.
