Sixpence 1866 ESC 1715, Bull 3213, Davies 1069, Dies 2A, with Die Number 30 EF/AU with original mint lustre, the obverse with light contact marks, with original lustre and light golden tone in the legends. Comes with ticket stating 'From Foundations of Gibbstown House'. Gibbstown House was a large house in Navan, Co. Meath, originally constructed by James Henry, for Thomas Gerrard, and was home to the Collins Gerrards. Building was completed in 1871.
