China People's Bank of China 5000 Yuan 1951 Pick 857Ca S/M#C282 PMG Very Fine 30. Purposed for the remote regions of Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, this rarely seen banknote circulated briefly before being withdrawn. Some scuffing and staining are seen on this otherwise wholesome example. Any surviving banknote from the Outer Provinces of 1951 is extremely desirable. Notice the back, which features additional texts in Mongolian and Uyghur. This is only the third example we have offered and happens to be significantly better than the first two.
