Japan Bank of Japan 100 Yen 1913 (Taisho Yr 2) Pick 33s Specimen JNDA 11-30 PMG Choice Very Fine 35 Net. A Taisho Year 2 Specimen of the largest denomination from the 1899-1913 Gold Certificate Issue. This gorgeous example features the portrait of 7th century stateman Fujiwara no Kamatari and a vignette of the Tanzan Shrine in Sakurai, Nara on the front. The Bank of Japan building along the the gold exchange clause appears on back. Although paperclip rust stains and a small ink marking are present, this Specimen maintains excellent eye appeal.
