Malaya and British Borneo Board of Commissioners of Currency 10 Dollars 1.3.1961 Pick 9as KNB9d Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. While an enormous quantity of issued banknotes was prepared by Thomas de la Rue and issued throughout a variety of territories that today cover Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, Specimen are actually very rare. In fact, we have never offered this type in the past. No Specimen $10 of 1961 has sold in auction since 2017, which should confirm its rarity. Red overprints and a perforated cancellation are seen, along with original embossing and bright colors.
