(g) George III (1760-1820), Garter Half-Guinea, 1813, seventh head right, edge obliquely milled, 4.21g, 12h (Murdoch III, 107[b]; Selig 1065-66; King - [cf. 188]; Stratos 50; Schneider II, 623/-; MCE 448; Spink 3737), possibly once wiped, otherwise lustrous, a pleasing extremely fine, a fitting complement to the popular 'Military Guinea' of this date.
