Republic Yuan Shih-kai Restrike "Plumed Hat" Dollar Year 3 (1914)-Dated (1918) MS62 NGC, Tientsin mint, KM-Y322.1, L&M-858, Kann-642. Restruck in 1918 for collectors. An issue which clearly points to the rampant popularity of the original 1914 Plumed Hat Dollars even amongst their contemporaries, and which, in fact, proves to be no less sought-after among collectors down to the present day. Struck with ample detail and delicate die polish in the fields, presently only two pieces grade finer at NGC.
