Qing Dynasty. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding ("Three-Stamp Remittance") "Packsaddle" Sycee of 4-1/2 Taels ND (19th-20th Century) XF (Holed, Test Marks), cf. Cribb-LXVI.I.981 (different weight), Assay Mark A1. 58x35mm. 158.61gm. Cast at Qingfengsheng Bank, inspected by assayers Tong, She, and Duan. Each of the three main stamps reads: "Qing Feng Sheng Ji Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Qingfengsheng Bank, remittance bank fine silver), assay stamps read: "Gong Gu Tong She Duan Kan" (Inspected by public assayers Tong, She, and Duan). Lightly handled, though still with good legibility, a square test punch visible on the face, and a group of crescent-shaped test marks and an "X" on the back.
