UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Late 3rd-early 4th centuries. 'Aureus' (Subaeratus, 19 mm, 3.29 g, 6 h), 'Plated Group'. IIIՒIT IIIIII Laureate and cuirassed imperial bust to left. Rev. II IIƧIII Roma seated left, holding Victory in her right hand and scepter in her left. Aurum Barbarorum I 819 (same dies, but in solid gold). Holed and with breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
