KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios, 323-317 BC. AE (Bronze, 19 mm, 5.45 g, 1 h), uncertain mint in Macedon. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΦI / BA Horseman riding right, raising his right hand in salute; below, race torch. Price P2 var. (no torch). A beautiful coin with a superb olive green patina. Thin flan crack and with a minor spot of corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
