KINGS OF ARMENIA. Artaxias I, 190-160 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 10 mm, 1.11 g, 11 h), first series, with Aramaic legends. Head of Artaxias I to right, bearded and wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with a star and tied with a diadem. Rev. 𐡌𐡋𐡁𐡏 - 𐡏𐡓𐡕𐡇𐡔𐡎𐡂 Dog standing right. Kovacs 44. Very rare. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
