At 4mm diameter and with a weight of 0.13g, this is one of the smallest coins ever issued. Assuming, as is commonly supposed, that one trite (1/3 stater) represented a month's pay for a soldier, this would mean that a 1/96 stater like this would have had a purchasing power roughly equivalent to £550 (= $730), still far too high to have been useful in day to day life.
