KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. (Bronze, 16.5 mm, 4.50 g, 1 h), struck posthumously under Philip III Arrhidaios, uncertain mint in Asia Minor, 323-319. Macedonian shield decorated on the boss with three-quarter head of Herakles facing slightly to right. Rev. B - A Crested Macedonian helmet; to lower left, grain ear. Price 2806. With a lovely and particularly clear obverse. Deposits on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
