CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Osismii. Late 2nd-early 1st century BC. Stater (Billon, 23 mm, 6.90 g, 2 h). Celiticized head to right with rolled hair; around, beaded cords with small human heads at the ends; above, boar standard right with pellet-in-ringlet beneath. Rev. Celticized horse with human head and rider to left; below, boar standard right with pellet-in-ringlet beneath; before, line with human head at its end. De Jersey p. 87, fig. 44. D&T 2238.
