ΜΙΔ-ΑΕΩΝ Apollo standing facing, head right, holding laurel branch in right hand, kithara in left. Extremely rare and possibly unique. Unpublished. Dark green patina. Minor roughness and light deposits. Very fine.


The coinage of Domitian from Midaeum is extremely rare with just eight coins representing four distinct types. This unique coin represents a new type.
