Theodosian Period, late 4th-early 5th centuries. (Bronze, 24 mm, 3.43 g, 6 h), a barbarous imitation, possibly from eastern Anatolia. Garbled legend Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust to right. Rev. Garbled legend Emperor standing facing, his head to right, holding labarum and globe. Apparently unpublished. An unusual and uncommon imitation. About very fine.
