BYZANTINE SEALS. Theodoros. Circa 11th century. Seal or Bulla (Lead, 23.5 mm, 6.91 g, 12 h). Nimbate and draped bust of youthful and beardless St. Georgios facing, holding spear over his right shoulder and small shield with which he covers his left side. Rev. +KE BO/ΘH TΩ CΩ/ ΔOYΛ' ΘEΩ/ΔΩP in four lines with linear decorations above and below. Nearly very fine.
