Marcus Aurelius. AD 161-180. Æ Sestertius (30.5mm, 24.55 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 175. Laureate head right / Annona standing left, holding grain ears over modius and cornucopia. RIC III 1128; MIR 18, 299-6/30; Banti 159. Glossy dark brown patina, flan crack, patches of roughness, scratch on obverse, some tooling in beard. VF. Rare.
Though listed as C (Common) in RIC, Banti records only one example of this sesstertius. The type appears to be decidedly rarer in the marketplace, with only two further examples listed on CoinArchives.
