Struck circa 967-973. [+ E]ADGAR RE[X], small cross pattée / DEOR/LAF M in two lines; Θ L + E Θ between, rosettes above and below. CTCE 171; SCBI 34 (BM), 1215; North 757; SCBC 1132. Toned, ragged edge with loss, some hard green deposits. VF. Rare.
Lot includes an old Seaby ticket in the hand of Bert Seaby (Eaglen D22A-1), and an old Spink(?) ticket, possibly in the hand of Peter Mitchell (Eaglen D01E-1).
