(lis) · CAROLVS · D · G · MAG [· BRI · FR · ET · HI · R]EX ·, Charles on horseback left, holding sword and reins / [(lis) C]HRI[STO : AVSPICE · ]REG[NO ·], crowned coat-of-arms. Allen, Mints dies K/56; Bull 677/56; Brooker 1167 (same dies); North 2609; SCBC 3127. Struck slightly off center on a squarish flan. Richly toned and with a charming naive depiction of the king and horse. Good VF for issue. Very rare.
