KINGS of MAURETANIA. Juba II. 25 BC-AD 24. AR Denarius (16mm, 2.65 g, 3h). Caesarea mint. REX IVBA, diademed head right / Eagle, with wings spread, standing right on thunderbolt; scepter to right, crescent below. Mazard 205; MAA 86; SNG Copenhagen 583. Even gray tone, with golden hues around the devices, underlying luster, minor die flaws in field on obverse. Near EF.
