Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.65 g, 2h). Rome mint; C. Sulpicius Platorinus, moneyer. Struck 13 BC. CAESAR AVGVSTVS, bare head right / C • SVLPICIVS • PLATORIN, Augustus and Agrippa, bareheaded and togate, seated side by side, facing slightly left, on a bisellium, placed on a platform which is ornamented with [three rostra]; on left, an apparitor's staff. RIC I 407; RSC 529; BMCRE 115-6 = BMCRR Rome 4657-8; BN 537-41; CNR III 450 (this coin). Toned, minor flan flaws and light scratch on obverse. VF.
