DEF, rev. design by John Bergdahl and inspired by Hans Holbein's painting of King Henry VIII, set within a tressure of five arcs, H to the left, R to the right, outer legend surrounding THE ACCESSION OF HENRY VIII 1509, and denomination FIVE POUNDS, edge, inscribed, ROSA SPINE SPINA meaning "A Rose Without a Thorn", weight 39.88g, with original box and certificate (S.
