COMMONWEALTH HALF GROAT, PENNY AND HALFPENNY.
COMMONWEALTH (1649-60) The coinage struck during the Commonwealth had English inscriptions rather than Latin. St George's Cross and the Irish Harp take the place of the Royal Arms. This set of three coins consists of the smallest denominations struck during the commonwealth- Half Groat, Penny and HalfPenny. Some nice detail typically crude like most coinage of this period.
