Obverse: DEPARTMENTDE SEINE ET OISE, Knowledge seated left on base, holding wreath in each hand; child below, reading from book and holding trumpet; Reverse: REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE, PRIX / DU / CONSEIL / GENERAL in four lines; laurel branch curving around to left; below, decorative plaque engraved "COMICE AGRICOLE SEINE-ET-OISE / HORTICULTURE / A LA SOCIETE D'HORTICULTURE / DES DEUX CANTONS / DE DOURDAN / 1909" in six lines. Edge: [cornucopia hallmark] 1 OR. This alluringly matte specimen features yellow-gold hues throughout and a very delicate Art Nouveau design upon the obverse.
