Obverse: REPVBLIQVE FRANCAISE, Science and Agriculture standing facing one another; seed sower in background to right; Reverse: MINISTERE DE L'AGRICVLTVRE, central plaque reading CONCOURS GENERAL / AGRICOLE / DE PARIS 1910; wreath of flora behind; grape bunch and banner reading SCIENCE LABEUR below. Edge: [cornucopia hallmark] 1 OR. The damage is in the form of some concentric light scratches in the upper field on the obverse. Also for completeness, a few scattered edge nicks are noted. Nevertheless, this stands as a VERY RARE issue in gold, presenting mostly matte surfaces and a great golden-yellow hue. Includes original box of issue.
