Diameter: 27.2mm; Weight: 12.36 gms. By F. Rasumny. Unawarded. Obverse: Personification of Agriculture standing left in hay field, instructing farmhand; Reverse: DIRECTION DE L'AGRICULTURE DU COMMERCE ET DE LA COLONISATION, CONCOURS AGRICOLE / SOUSSE / 1910 within wreath. Edge: Plain, though some scattered marks and scuffs are noted for completeness. A colonial issue, this show took place in Sousse, Tunisia on the coast of the Mediterranean. The great appeal of the matte surfaces is further augmented by an appealing golden-orange hue and subtle highlights around the devices.
