GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, ND (1590-92). London Mint; im: Hand. Elizabeth I. NGC MS-64.
S-2577; N-2014. Obverse: Crowned bust left, wearing ruffled collar; Reverse: Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchee. Quite a remarkable example of this later hammered issue, presenting a strong, well centered strike on each side as well as wholesome, problem-free surfaces and a pleasing cabinet tone. It's rather difficult to imagine encountering a specimen more attractive than this piece and, rather unsurprisingly, NGC has graded none finer for this specific type.
