KM-PS1. Mintage: 2,558 sets. A very attractive nicely matched mixed Gem and near-Gem quality complete proof set. The silver issues exhibit varying degrees of attractive mottled patina displaying hues of cobalt, seafoam green (on the peso), russet, tan and heather purple. While the choice Gem 5 Centavo, the most attractive coin in the set in this catalogers opinion, is fully original with cartwheel luster displaying a thin veneer of champagne, sky blue and lavender iridescent tone offering outstanding eye appeal. The choice Gem copper issues exhibit much original mint bloom each with varying degrees of mottled red copper tone accentuated by a nice cartwheel effect. Each piece from this attractive set of survivors exhibits boldly struck frosted devices with smooth lustrous fields. An attractive set worthy of a premium bid from collectors with a good eye for quality.
