RUSSIA. Ruble, 1733. Kadashevsky (Moscow) Mint. Anna. NGC MS-62.
Dav-1671; KM-192.2; cf. Bit-63. Tied for second finest certified of the date with 19 other examples on the NGC population report, only eight finer (MS 63). This nicely preserved and lustrous survivor exhibits a bold obverse motif while the reverse is a bit on the flat side, most notably in the center and eagles necks, attractive mottled gray patina with plenty of underlying luster adding to its originality. A small natural planchet anomaly at 4 on the edge prevented a full strike of the legends on both sides mentioned for accuracy. This handsome example offers a pleasing appearance certain to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
Estimate: $3000.00- $4000.00
