ECUADOR. 8 Escudos, 1852/0-QUITO GJ. Quito Mint. NGC AU-58.
KM-34.1; Onza-1772 ("rara"). Extremely close to Mint State quality, this piece showcases rich, even orange-gold coloration with strong reflective qualities remaining apparent in the fields. Refreshingly free of marks for the grade as well. It terms of strike, just about as sharp as one is bound to find, with wonderful detail appearing in Bolivar's bust and within the reverse design. A truly wonderful representative throughout, ideal for the collector seeking a bold, wholesome and attractive example of the this always-demanded type.
