Crowned arms of Spain, consisting of Castile and Leon, Catalonia - Aragon, Sicily, Austria, Burgundy, Brabant, Flanders and Tyrol; denomination "II" right (partially off the flan), mintmark and assayers letter "MoJ" left; legend around; Reverse: Bar-tipped cross with fleurs-de-lis in quarters within quadrilobe all within bead border, legend around. An attractive nicely preserved Gem exhibiting a bold strike on a round planchet displaying a nearly complete shield, bold mintmark/assayers letter, four digit-date, partial denomination, crisp complete cross and nearly complete quadrilobe. An excellent example of the date with lustrous pale gold surfaces and good eye appeal certain to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
