Fr-42; KM-143.2; Cal-Type 161 # 1485; Cayon-14321; Grove-1677. Transitional bust type. The single finest certified of the type on either the NGC or PCGS population report. A SCARCE short lived one year type struck with the bust of Charles III, but in the name of Charles IV with ordinal as IIII. A wholesome representative of the type with light wear consistent for the grade and plenty of remaining flashy luster. A pleasing survivor of this popular type certain to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
