MEXICO. 2 Escudos, 1804-Mo TH/FT. Mexico City Mint. Charles IIII (IV). NGC MS-60.
Fr-45; KM-132; Cal-Type 144 # 1338; Cayon-14273; Grove-1670. Upright Assayers Letters and Mint Mark. The single finest certified of the date on either the NGC or PCGS population report, none finer. A nicely preserved minor gold issue with bold design elements and plenty of luster displaying a hint of tone. Light signs of handling consistent for the grade exhibiting minor abrasions one would associate with this state of preservation adding character. A pleasant survivor of this relatively common issue in a very tough to locate condition sure to see spirited bidding from many collectors.
