S-3765A; KM-634. Bank of England type I countermark; bust of George III within oval indent on a 1794-Mo FM Mexican bust 8 Reales of Charles IIII (IV) (KM-109). A rather alluring and attractive example of this type, with a host that is very lightly handled and with a pleasing tone and subtle brilliance. The countermark has seen little in the way of circulation and is quite nice.
